Default lots of logs on the C:\ drive

I found a lot of *.log files in the root folder of my C:\
drive. Also, I found a few text install logs. Would it
be safe to delete these?

Yes, but keep them in the Recycle Bin to re-assure
yourself that they aren't required.

You can restore them to their original locations from the
Bin.

You could also make a note of their locations and copy
them to a Suspense folder, then delete them.

Perhaps show us what they are...

(1) "START button, Programs, MS-DOS Prompt".
(2) Enter "DIR C:\*.log"
& "DIR C:\*.txt"
(3) Use the "MARK", outline with mouse, "COPY" buttons to post the
results.

C:\DIR C:\*.log
Directory of C:\
SCANDISK LOG 1,054 06-26-04 2:37p SCANDISK.LOG
1 file(s) 1,054 bytes

C:\DIR C:\*.txt
Directory of C:\
NETLOG TXT 3,668 07-28-03 1:57a NETLOG.TXT
1 file(s) 3,668 bytes

Thanks or Good Luck,
There may be humor in this post, and,
Naturally, you will not sue,
should things get worse after this,
