Dial up connection on start up

I recently had a few trojans and viruses which have now
been removed thanks to AVG, Adaware, Trojan Hunter, and
Spybot. All scans are showing clean now. The only thing I
cannot seem to stop is when I initialy start windows I
get the dial up connection screen asking me to connect to
the internet. It is using the correct phone number and my
normal service provider but I didn't ask to connect. I
have a feeling it might be something to do with one of
the viruses I removed.

I have cleared all the startup ticks from Msconfig but it
still keeps appearing. Once I get this problem sorted I
will be happy. Please help. Thankyou

Check for any programs that you have set to 'auto update'. Also, if using
a firewall, i.e. Zone Alarm, you should be able to determine what program is
requesting the connection.
