I see that Microsoft announces "End of support for Windows 98 and Windows
Me": "Effective June 30, 2006, support for Windows 98, Windows 98 Second Edition, and Windows Millennium Edition (Windows Me) will end. Existing support documents, however, will continue to be available through the Microsoft Support Product Solution Center site." http://by101fd.bay101.hotmail.msn.co...d007fea0b2 dd Will that mean the end of these Win98 and WinME newsgroups as well? I hope not, they are such a great and unique source of help and information, and there are surely a great many of us still using these versions. I will continue to even though I now also have three WinXP desktop machines and one WinXP laptop. |
