Default Messenger Service in NT&XP for Windows 98 ???

The well known "Messenger Service" in Windows XP is a great tool for me, I
use it with self-written applications using the net send command (XP) or the
command line utility netsend.exe from a third party.
But Windows 98 doesn't contain a Messenger Service, does it?
It HAS some kind of WinPopup, but no messenger service ...

Does anywhere a utility exist that simulates the XP Messenger Service, but
suitable for win98 ???

I don't mean a LanMessenger application, but ONLY a service that displays
Messenger Service-like popups when a message is received.

Thanks

WinPopup is it. If that doesn't get it for you there's no other option,
sorry.
