Default Help : Wrong Icon in Windows Explorer !

Hi there,

Can someone help me solve this problem ?

All of a sudden the Icon in Windows Explorer for my 2nd CD-ROM (F:
Drive) has changed !

It used to say "Compact Disc (F)" with the appropriate Icon but now it
taken on the identity of the drive below it.
i.e. it now says "CompactFlash (F" and displays the Compact Flash
Icon as well
The drive below says "CompactFlash (G" and that is correct of
course.

It still functions as a Compact Disc of course when you insert a CD
into drive F, it's jsut the description and Icon are wrong !

Can someone explain hot to correct this so that the description and
Icon go back to normal !

Thanks,

Steve

Default Help : Wrong Icon in Windows Explorer !

Uninstalling the CD drive listing from

ControlPanel/System/DeviceManager

(While you're there take a look see if your USB stuff looks OK)

When you reboot Windows should pick up the "New Hardware" and install
it... hopefully correctly.
