Scan disk
Whenever I try to run scan disk on Windows ME, I get the
error message that a program is running. I shut everything off, i.e., Norton, my weather forecaster, etc. I even CTRL, ALT, DELETE and end task on all programs except IE and Systray. I even unplug my modem, but I still get the same message. What can I do to run a scan disk?

What can I do to run a scan disk? Try it in Safe Mode... (you can actually end Systray if you want too though it shouldn't be the cause). Rick
