can't start win98
When starting in normal mode, we get a "This program has performed an
illegal operation" and details says "explorer cause an invalid page fault in module explorer.exe at 0167:00401f31" error. The KB says that's because explorer.exe is in the root of c:. Not so on this Dell laptop. Also, cannot start in safe mode either; get the same error. It's Windows 98 2nd ed. How to fix? -- Bill
