Default non-potential and real threats

As a consequence to my misinformation I have given earlier
I would like to give a bit of a guide to what is and is
not a potential and real threats to your CPU:

simply go to:

http://www.snopes.com/computer/virus/virus.htm#jdbgmgr

and it should help clear some things up.

Hi Sandshifter,
You are certainly not the first one to get sucked into that mis-information
that you speak of. The link you provided is a good one.
I generally don't act on anything new without perusing this NG (or other MS
NG's perhaps more related).

I would also invite you to check out MS-MVP Jim Eshelmans forum for
*excellent* up-to-date information, not only on viruses, but malware,
spyware, and everything else under the sun. I believe you'll like it:
