Default Insufficient Memory

I'm trying to fix this error message.

"Insufficient memoty to initialize Windows.

Quie one or more memoty-resident programs or remove
unnecessary utilities from you CONFIG.SYS and AUTOEXEC.BAT
files, and restart your computer."

I found and followed the directions from KBA article
184447 but it did not solve my problem. The user has had
1gb of memory for quite some time without problems. This
just started all of a sudden. Any ideas?

Perhaps a line in his System.ini got deleted or ; out.
That line would be MaxFileCache=512000 and it should be under the [vcache]
header.
If this does not help, please post back.
