You will need to explain yourself.

"Is it possible to run exe application" - Yes, of course.

"from dts package" - What does this mean? Desk Top System?

"maybe using an ActiveX script". Again some sort of explanation as to
what you are trying to do could be of assistance to those who might be in
a position to answer your query.

I'm glad you asked that, Mike - I was trying desperately to make out what
the OP was asking, and getting nowhere (so I just put it down to my own
stupidity)

And good also for me to read that it wasn't just lack of coffee at this
end (had three cups of tea instead) that made the OPs post quite
unintelligible for me. :-)

........and this has what to do with Windows Millennium Edition? - AFAIK, SQL
Server won't work under ME. - although the databases can presumably be
queried by ME clients.

No wonder neither Mike nor myself realised what the subject was about!

Just FYI, DTS is also with Office, so if that is installed on a ME
system...

Presumably it's installed as part of OLE, rather than anything else -
because I've never noticed it in any of the 6 or so versions of Office I've
run.
