Default Windows 98SE Windows Update Problem

I think I am missing a lot of important update for my computer. I get error
number 0x80090305. It happens right when it starts to scan for updates. It is
behind a wireless router. Maybe the connection is not getting through. Google
didn't help and the microsoft support faq's didn't provide my error number.
Please help.

Post this query to the Windows Updates support newsgroup. Besides being
more focused on the subject, the people there have more precise and
up-to-date experience to bring to bear, and it is also closely monitored
by the MS personnel responsible for Windows Updates.

There are many references in Google. Did you view all of these?

or

If not any help, then please repost in the update group. Microsoft
personnel are there to help solve update problems.
(They may be swamped, so please be patient)
