Default PIP 2001

Trying to use Picture Publishing 2001!!!!!
Open program no probs!
Select task eg: Blank project no probs!
But when trying to do anything to a project eg: add
somthing
the screen goes black and the light on the monitor goes
from green to orange ie: it shuts down then i press
ctrl alt del and end task on PIP 2001.
When monitor comes back on the image seems to falter
slightly. I tried adware/spybot/avg and shredder just in
case plus a reinstall of PIP 2001. After posting this i
will try Stinger and maybe Restore!
If i have any more info i will post asap
thanks grayman
..
