Default Uninstalled Netscape, now problems

After uninstalling Netscape browser, immediately problems with most but not
all programs.
Problems include...
Shortcuts not finding the program, programs losing registration keys,
Outlook express and IE 6.0 losing dialup settings and customized settings,
Outlook's address book empty, Etc.
I have tried SFC, Regclean, scanreg, chklnks.exe, repair links, but find I
am having to just fix all the problems one at a time as they show up. Most
files are there, just not being found. Some files are completely missing
making reinstall needed.
Thanks in advance...

Possibly try the IE repair option (in Add/Remove for Internet Explorer),
and/or reinstalling IE (the same version). (But that probably won't bring
back your address book with names in it, or stuff like that).

Its more than IE, most of the programs on the computer were affected, FTP
voyager, Outlook, Zonealarm, IE, Kit-cat clock, Games, etc.
I remember reading a few years ago about a similar problem and it was
something about a corrupt (logon)user file causing almost the same problems.

Its not really more than IE, IE is hooked into just about everything in the
OS
You removed an alternate browser and problems occurred, therefore the most
likely cause is browser, repair/reinstall the browser as advised
