Default Internet Explorer

Whenever I close a web page through IE my screen blinks
and a error dialog box pops up stating"Explorer has caused
an error in(unknown). Explorer will now close. If you
continue to experience problems, try re-starting your
computer"

At the same time my volume and scanner icon disappear from
the lower display tray. I've searched various help sites
with no results. Has anyone experienced this? Can someone
help?

You may have a virus/spyware hijack

download the Stinger from here and run it to make sure that A-V-disabling
viruses are not present on your PC
http://download.nai.com/products/mca...rt/stinger.exe

- update your virus scanner and run a full system scan of all files.

download AdAware SE Personal Edition from www.lavasoftusa.com, install,
update, and run it to remove spyware, adware, and other such nasties from
your system.

This is the only way I cen ask a question..I double click on "question?",but
no window appears to compose it..My problem is:..on certain webs from papers
in Europe, the site is either unresponsive,or it becomes blank partially or
totally..Please help with both and post them on Joe's site.
