Not the first time MS updates and ZA collided with a non-connectivity for ZA. Killing device mangler hardware listing is new to me. Have seen all the rest of it in the xpgeneral group. -- Dave Bailout: Friend, relative, business acquaintance paying a sum to get the accused out of jail until court is ready to proceed. Bailout: U.S. taxpayers paying a sum of money for some critical business failure that was fleecing the taxpayer to begin with. Somehow, the word "bailout" seems very different. |

(Of course, I've been around the block a few times on these so-called "updates", so I don't install them, and my system still runs like a champ, as a consequence). SP3 (just like some of the other so-called "updates"), has some problems, at least for quite a few people. But as to why anyone with half a brain would even install it in the first place, (along with most of the other so-called "updates") ... well, let's just leave it there. :-) |

Spare a thought for Vista users ... Microsoft is providing a 53MB download for Vista users which adds 5 words to its English and German dictionaries. LOL, I am using Vista Home Premium 32 bit (Service Pack 1) with a Toshiba
laptop Glen and it is okay. It certainly is great with security but still needs work with compatibility. I tried to hook up my Ipod Mini which is a 2nd generation one with 6 gigabytes and Vista choked without any error message and Itunes within Vista would not play my songs. Anyway, I made an appointment with Apple for the next day and guess what Vista played the songs without a hitch and it sure made me feel stupid that it worked the next day when it had not worked the day before. Have you ever run into scenarios like this? "glee" wrote: "Franc Zabkar" wrote in message ... snip Spare a thought for Vista users ...
