Default Hardware Help?

I access this server via Outlook Express. I searched for a hardware dg but
couldn't find one.
Is there a ms dg that dedicated to hardware problems, such as with a power
supply?
I knew there are--or were-- groups for hard disks, display, and such.

Default Hardware Help?

There are some newsgroups (most are in a foreign language). Suggest you use
Google to find some help.

The only one I see that even has hardware named is in Spanish, guess the others are
gone or meshed into another category. Might as well mention any issue here.

Default Hardware Help?

Hang on before you run elsewhere, there are several repair techs and board
designers, or familiar with such, that monitor this group.

Describe the problem, the power supply maker, and see what turns up here.

Somehow the problem resolved itself. Anyway, I prefer to post messages about
hardware issues here, just as long as they're not considered off-topic.

Anything to do with Windows 98 is not off topic here, including hardware
questions. I believe the suggestion was made simply to help you find the
best info, not as a rebuke.
