Default Administrative Privelages

How do I reset the admin right on WIN98 such that I can use things like
Internet Connection Wizard and setting my IP addresses maually.

Is this a stand alone computer? If so, you have the rights to do what you
are asking. If you are on a network, check with your network administrator
to see if restrictions have been implemented.

What happens when you try to set your IP address or use the Internet
Connection Wizard?

This is a stand alone PC at home. To change anything inclucing IP addresses
I have to go in to Safe Mode. If I try My internet Connection wizard it
tells me to contact my Network Administrator!

But if you boot into safe mode this doesn't happen?

Try clean booting. It sounds like you are loading up some third party
program that is causing this message to occur.
