Grub/Lilo/whatever bootloader is involved and what is

Hey, I /am/ getting dumber every day! And while grub and lilo
are beyond my comprehension, I have a couple of oldies but
goodies I can actually understand the interface of...

Well my memory is fadin-away too. If you're referring to the old
Windows System Commander styles, I'm not sure how well they work with
the new *nix. I'd say keep me informed but... this ainta gonna be here
no more...

Yes, that's roughly what they are but AFAICT they handle all the
*x file systems.

Apparently you can even do it with the XP-with98-installed boot
menu just by adding another line for the Linux partition. That
MAY be the easiest way to start.

BTW, I will miss you - why don't you get an account at eternal
september?

Okay, so you have prepared,, knew you had. I looked into the boot
manger via Microsoft issue myself, didn't seem all that difficult.

Been done awhile ago for other reasons, MEB will not post via it here
anymore when this group is removed regardless of any furtherance
elsewhere, my obligation to Win9X users is apparently over. You are
probably one of the few that will supposedly miss MEB anyway.
Besides, if the group continues somewhere it will likely fill up with
some of the old users and some new maybe for a time till nothing is
worthwhile, and of course you'll have 98 Guy and Sunny to keep you
occupied with their ready wit... I have to admit I will miss this group
and its users though; as some are saying "its been a good run".
