Default Registry Repair Scan Your System

When a computer runs on a Windows operating system, it has what is
called a Windows registry. Over time, this registry develops errors.
These errors can cause system instability and may even cause your
computer to crash. In fact, almost all computer problems can be tracked
down to some type of registry error.
RegRECALL scans your entire registry for these errors and then quickly
and safely repairs any errors that it finds. Once RegRECALL repairs the
errors, your computer's performance is brought back to speed and your
computer problems simply disappear.

There is a phrase that refers to this post, paraphresed as bovine excreta,
automated registry repair tools cause way more problems than they fix

When a computer runs on a Windows operating system,

It doesn't. You've got that backwards.
An operating system runs on a computer,
which in turn functions under the control of the operating system.

it has what is called a Windows registry.

You've got that wrong also.
The Windows Registry did not exist on Windows prior to Windows 95.

Over time, this registry develops errors.

Wrong, again. Time is not the driver. Change is.

These errors can cause system instability and may even cause your
computer to crash.

We must inform Microsoft of this immediately.

In fact, almost all computer problems can be tracked
down to some type of registry error.

You really do not have Clue #1 in your possesion, do you?

RegRECALL scans your entire registry for these errors and then quickly
and safely repairs any errors that it finds.

Have you ever SEEN a Registry. The permutations are astounding.
No Registry "cleaner" could EVER be guaranteed.

Once RegRECALL repairs the
errors, your computer's performance is brought back to speed

What about the ones that were crashing, rather than simply running slow?
Do you claim that it magically fixes those also?
What about the ones that aren't running slow OR crashing,
but are working incorrectly? How do YOU go about detecting that?

and your computer problems simply disappear.

Astonishing!~!

I'll bet that I could create a hundred errors in a Registry, manually,
and your wonder-product won't find a single one.

PS Wanna buy some snake oil? I have some stashed under a bridge
in Brooklyn. I'll throw in the bridge for a pittance.

Note to the naive. This is SPAM, and the very fact that the maker chose to
SPAM these newsgroups indicates that the product is CRAP!

Know this: Even the *best* Registry tools are dangerous in the hands of the
unknowledgeable. They can *suggest* possible fixes, but it is always up to
the user to decide if the suggestions have merit or not. Every Registry tool
that I've ever seen produces "false positives", entries that if deleted will
actually do damage to your system.

Yes, I weakened and ran one recently, it only removed "empty registry keys,
etc.", totally useless stuff....it said.

Next reboot, some file association were wrong, even a few settings in
Tweakui were changed. Nothing serious, still better to avoid general
cleaners.

When using those tools, you only want to remove stuff that you are fairly
certain about, and even then only after making a backup. Don't trust the app
to do it for you. Even if it keeps backups, it might only keep the most
recent "pre-cleanup" backup and any previous runs will end up being
permanent.

Rule One: When in doubt, DON'T.
