Default Converting Chinese Windows Back To English

Hi,

How do you convert a Chinese Windows operating system back to English?

I have tried many things but just can't get English to appear - other than
when I use IE. Everthing is in Chinese. When I selec regional settings (I
think) icon is a globe. Then select Languages, again I think that is what I
am selecting, as I don't know Chinese, the options are all in chinese. I
noticed something that looks like an IP adddress number. Should this be a
specific setting for the English language. I don't care if it is English UK,
US or Canadian ... just English would be nice.

Thanks

Chinese Windows is a different operating system from English Windows, just
as is French and German the answer is that you have to clean install the
English version of the operating system you require - you can't just flip
a switch and change the underlying language of the operating system.

Note that there is just one English version of Win Me - whether used in
the US, UK, Canada, Australia or any other location. The differences here
are localisation "issues" including such things as keyboard layout and how
numbers and dates are displayed with the underlying OS being "English".
