Volume Problem Remains
hi. I think my posts got lost in all the mix here. So I'll just paste them
here. Thanks to all who have responded in the past. Hello. Thank you for your time. I have Belarc.-no problems found (that I could see). I haven't added anything new prior to losing the sound. I think this sound problem happened when my son hit the button to put the pc to "sleep, and he went ahead and immediately shut it down by holding in the "off" button on the tower. After this, we lost all sound. No, I cannot play any system sounds in the Control Panel listing. No, I do not have a microphone handy at the moment. I will get mine back from one of my kids this weekend and try it. I am in the middle of downloading the Everest program right now. On their website is a program for a free driver scan from DriverAgent.com? Should I try that also? Thanks so much...again!!! Dawn |
