Invisible font
System H-P Pavilion 9600, 256 Mb ram
This computer can't see a font in the font folder when looking with Explorer. Word Perfect, Word 6/7, and Wordpad can't see it either. It doesn't appear in the registry. But I can see the font in the folder if I use another computer on the network with with Explorer. I deleted the font using the second computer, then tried to install it using the Control Panel. But the select font box can't see it, so I can't install it. I then exported the font part of the registry and added the font manually using Wordpad, and then imported the section back into the registry. Regedit can't see the font. For all intents and purposes, this font is completely invisible to this H-P computer. Any hints on how to make it visible so that I can install it properly? -- Bernard W.
