Windows 98 startup problem
Hi,
I have an IBM Thinkpad 390E that won't startup. I get an error message that reads "While initializing device VKD" and that is as far as it goes. I recently installed a wireless card, and it was working okay and then this happened. Also, the battery is being drained instead of being charged by the power cord, and there is a high-pitched whine coming from where the power cord plugs in. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! Bill |
