But there was no way I was going to allow the Idiot to start his BS in this ng, so had to get rather nasty with him. He doesn't understand anything else. I did notice a distinct reticence to post from y'all....which was a good thing. He craves an audience. We ignore him most of the time in ACV as well. As for our Loon....I should have saved all of his taglines and written a book, lol. Guess we couldn't call it "Looney Toons" though. (G) Cheers.....Figgs "Mart" wrote in message ... Although I was not too comfortable with the content of 'certain posts' (nor the need to air them in a WinMe NG) elsewhere in this thread, I would wholeheartedly agree with Joan's observations - and the philosophy behind your tags, HL. Haven't had the fresh Haggis but I used to like the variety that you could
get in tins, but I expect that sort makes you shudder Noel g Joan Noel Paton wrote: Didn't you have Haggis, in Scotland, Figgs? Do you want the recipe? http://thefoody.com/meat/haggis.html |

Oooh! how true!!
I've eaten haggis that came out of a mobile F&C van - it was surprisingly good! - but out of a tin?????? - ANATHEMA!!!! Even Asda and Aldi do acceptable (not good, but acceptable) haggis during the season (which depends on the turning circle of the female of the speciesg) - and which goes very well with the required accompaniments of Tatties, Neaps, and Ouisqe-va!! -- Noel Paton (MS-MVP 2002-2006, Windows) Nil Carborundum Illegitemi http://www.crashfixpc.com/millsrpch.htm http://tinyurl.com/6oztj Please read http://dts-l.org/goodpost.htm on how to post messages to NG's "Joan Archer" wrote in message ... Forget about the spell checker, Loom. The funniest part is that humor and reality are synonymous. I'll bet you weren't aware of that. Yet it doesn't make any less valuable to us. Don't you ever leave us either. Harry. "Heirloom" wrote in message ... Actually, Joanie, I believe you may have mistaken "reality" for humor. Heirloom, old and oops, *humour* (I really need to get an "English" spell checker) "Joan Archer" wrote in message ...
