Default How to increase ARP timeouts

There are many XP forums and newsgroups, For most they are easier to find
than to find the legacy newsgroups such as this one which is for the long
retired Windows Millennium operating system however Microsoft do tend to
confuse things for those using the forum interface to access the
newsgroups.. Using a news client is more direct and the newsgroup names less
confusing. :-)

See if MS KB314053 "TCP/IP and NBT configuration parameters for Windows XP"
(http://support.microsoft.com?kbid=314053) has anything that helps.
