Default Eliminating clipboard

How do I get rid of the clipboard that pops up in the middle of the screen
and I constantly have to close or move?
Wireless network/W98SE/XP/Office 2000 Pro

No, that's a spam filter I guess. I'm talking about the clipboard that pops
up when you copy and paste from one application to another. I never noticed
it before but as far as I know I didn't change anything, so i have no clue
how to get rid of it.

Thank you for your suggestion. I had avoided changing the registry but it
looks like that's the only way to get rid of this pesky thing so I did it and
it worked great!
