Default DNS Hardwired on Host Table

I assume that is the problem anyway. My computer refuses to change the DNS
of a website that has changed servers. I have checked and it isn't a browser
problem. I've also talked with my old and new webhost and both are telling
me it is my computers problem. At any rate, emptying caches (including the
DNS caches) does no good. When I ping the site I still get the old DNS. I
know it has changed and others are going to the new location (the site was
changed sugnificantly so it is obvious that they have the new site at the new
location). I haven't a clue how to get to my host table but that is the only
place I can think of to look.
Help.
