I think, you mean 64GB, but not 46GB.
"Fdisk Does Not Recognize Full Size of Disks Larger than 64 GB" http://support.microsoft.com/default...;EN-US;q263044 See the links to the downloadable file at the bottom half of this article. BTW, the old Fdisk works with the such drives as well -- simply quote from the article Fdisk does not report the correct size of the hard disk. But no problem end of quote and no problems to partition the drives using not the absolute values -- but the percents of the drive space. -- Mikhail Zhilin http://www.aha.ru/~mwz Sorry, no technical support by e-mail. Please reply to the newsgroups only. ====== On Fri, 17 Jun 2005 18:43:02 -0700, "martynz" wrote: the fix to be able to install 46gig plus hard drives was only avail from tech support and they no longer supoort does any one else have a copy of FDisk for W98 later than 15 of dec 1999?? or m=know where to get one from??? |

Running tri-boot XP/ME/98SE. ME natively provides, without add-ons or download add-on/fixes to the OS, Direct Draw for your digital camcorder, great firewire and USB, still support MS dos to some extent, including most MS games like my favorite Age of Empires all 3 series. ME is my favorite for no internet-access, stand-alone PCs for computer opponent gaming, video encoding and subsequent DVD movie burning, and business software. AV software and firewall not required or needed. Unhindered, out of the box, ME works great for myself. Just stay off the internet, and infected LAN PC connectivy. |
