Default Monitor Display

A few days ago had difficulty rebooting computer. Finally booted ok, but
monitor display is now distorted. Icons on desktop appear to be normal, but
the screen is stretched vertically with both text & graphics distorted when
you open other windows. In other words it has the same appearance as looking
at a TV from an extreme side angle which makes everything look taller. I have
gone into the display options section & tried to resize the screen. However,
the distortion is so bad I cannot click on apply button to make any changes.
Rebooting the computer has no effect, it always comes out looking the same.

Most people would first reinstal the
driver for the video card, via / System
/ Device Manager.

Hi,

Go back into Display properties and increase the screen
size and click enter on the keyboard rather than trying to
click Apply. Post back with the results.
