Writing a driver for Lexmark X73
How would a feller go about writing a driver for this
printer? When it prints (rarely), it is excellent quality. The driver is the problem and the Lexmark boys are no help. I really hate to thrown the printer out, so I'd like to find out how to write a driver or where to get a 3rd party version. Thanks! Fred |

Start with the Microsoft DDK for your operating system, and the detailed
description of the device you are writing the drivers for. The MS DDK is available from Microsoft or a programming software distributor (although the W98 version might be hard to come by) while the detailed specifications for the printer might be available from the manufacturer. -- Jeff Richards MS MVP (Windows - Shell/User) "Fred" wrote in message news:%6hJe.1008$1S.601@trnddc04...
