Default Wireless card

My Compaq Armada1535DM (98SE), needs a wireless card. It won't work with my
Belkin for some conflict reason that I cannot seem to remedy regardless of
what downloads I find.

I tried to do a search for a card recommendation but did not come up with
one. Can anyone suggest a card that will work with my set up?

Thanks

Default Wireless card

Is this PCMCIA?

I can tell you that a Microsoft MN-720 works with an Armada 1700, but I
don't know if that's helpful or not.

Default Wireless card

Jeff,

Yes, this is PCMCIA. This laptop is so old it does not have any USB ports. I
am trying to use it for some basic engine tuning software. In addition to
needing the wireless card there are some other issues too. The tuning
software requires IE 5.01. However there is no 5.01 anymore, at least none I
can find. I tried loading IE 6.0 but it won't take, without the 5.01. I tried
loading the SP5.5 and other variations, but the PC says it "does not need
it", or something like that. Of course being '98, it can't take IE7.

What makes this all so difficult is that without an internet connection, I
have to jump through hoops, like download all these udates onto a floppy or
disc on my desktop, and then try and load them onto the Compaq.

Any suggestions would be great.

Mark

IE 5.5 should be fine. What is the exact error message?
