Just thought I would mention it for any who care about being
notified.......or something along those lines......lol.

Although the instructions say to, it's not necessary to delete the old
version.

I thought I would try a straight download and then check for 4.1 in
Add/Remove. It wasn't there, so the flash of the word "removal" when
applying the new one had to mean removal of the old one.

Does that make sense? My eyeballs need cleaning. It's not my glasses,
it's my eyeballs, LOL!!

No removal necessary, as Corday mentioned, you simply 'run' the download and
the rest will take care of itself, except for updating and 'Enable all
Protection'.
