It's extremely unlikely that your router's IP is 192.168.0.50 - it's more
likely to be 192.168.0.1
try that, and see what happens

this is what the problem pc is like,
the router is ok at 192.168.0.50

when i put 192.168.0.50 into my browser it says
'internet explorer could not open the search page'

if i type 'http://192.168.0.50' it ignores it.

if i ping 192.168.0.50 at commant propt, it shows good connect figures,

i tried putting on firefox & ie6, its still the same!!

i had tried it, its now set back to 192.168.0.50
& its alocating ip's 10 to 254, because 1 to 9 are
reserved for printers & 'other' pc's that are
blocked from the internet.

it was working ok 2 weeks ago. other pc's do work
ok with this setting
