Default Help with upgrade!

I had 98 on my computer and all my work files on the
desktop. I have a windows XP Upgrade CD that I used to
upgrade my computer. I did the fresh install and not the
Upgrade install. I also changed the file system from Fat
32 to NTFS or whatever. NOW, all my desktop files are
gone, but my programs still exist. HELP! Where are these
files or how can I get them back?

You can probably find them in C:\Windows\Desktop.
