C Drive
Hey,
We have a compaq computer that is a pentium 3. Lately i have been running into a problem with the C Drive. Whenever i try to recycle or delete ANYTHING in the C drive an error message pops up and says "Cannot delete do: access is denied. The file source may be in use." Does anyone know what the problem is? How can it be fixed? Thanxs in advance. David |

What are you trying to delete? I know that if you have
something open at the time you are trying to delete it, it can't be done because it is being used. -----Original Message----- Hey, We have a compaq computer that is a pentium 3. C Drive
Hey,
Thanks for replying. I am trying to delete any file. absolutely anything. And that is the other problem. nothing is open. I even hit CTRL, ALT, DELETE and ended every task except systray and explorer. And there is one more thing. This always hasn't happened. It just started acting up. So there has to be a way to fix it. Thanks again. David -----Original Message----- What are you trying to delete? You could try deleting in Safe Mode to see if that works. But as you imply
that "It just started acting up" *very recently*? - within the past few days??, you should consider running System Restore and rolling back to the last time/date when it was working correctly.
