Default invaild page faults in module unknown

recently reinstalled win98se, can't get ie, netscape or firefox to work keep
getting message . This program has performed an illegal operation and will
be shut down. If the problem persists, contact the program vendor (invalid
page fault in module unknown). i have the latest video drivers for my ati
card, no viruses, can this be a virtual memory problem since win98se is
installed on my e: drive and virtual memory is on f: drive??

F drive, or insufficient room. You could try (carefully) disabling the swap
file and see if the problem still exists, or move it temporarily to either C
