the D: drive isn't working on my old computer, what can I do to get it to
work?

1. If this is a partition on your sole hard drive, reformat it.
2. If this a partition on a second hard drive, replace the drive.

If still in doubt, get the diagnostic
tool from its makers' web site and post back
here what it says about the drive.

What is D: drive, a CDRom, a hard drive partition, or ?????????? We know
it is not working--provide specific details on what it does when you try to
use it.
