wireless lan cards are a bit "hit and miss" in windows 98 ...are you

sure
you have compatible drivers for your version of Windows ?

No, I have no idea... i tried to find it on the web, i didn't find

this might be it ?

http://www.soft32.com/download_183697.html

Might be , I already tried this link when I was looking for the driver
at
first, and this link doesn't work, the download won't start.
Though it's the only driver I could find on the web, looking like what I
need.

Thanks anyway (if *you* can download it, please let me now how ).

I should have checked ..yup ..bad link

I don't see anything lower than win2000 drivers for that thing out there
....it may be a no go :

let you know if I come across anything

this looks to be a good place to start ...you may have to try a couple of
chipset drivers to find the one that works for you.

I think I found what you need at the folowwing address:

http://www.lsi.com/consumer_home/pro...te=1&locale=EN

I bought the same PCMCIA modem (Nec aterm WL11c) in Japan, without the
driver, and now it works

hope that helps
