Reboots over and over
Hi,
I am using a Pentium 200MHz machine and I'm upgrading to windows 98SE from windows 95. It all goes OK until the end when the system is supposed to come up, it will reboot. Instead of choosing safe mode, I choose regular boot and then the system comes up OK. The problem is I have to boot twice, sometimes three times in order for the system to come up. I tried msconfig and that stuff but it doesn't seem to matter what the statup files are. It just takes two or three boots to come up? I can't figure it out. I reinstalled the OS a couple of times and each time this problem comes up. I need help. If you need technical info, I will include it. Thank you. Chris R. |
