Actually it is and has been 2.60 since February 2cnd.

The update histrory the following...

a.. 4/05/2006
a.. Updated version information, and extended expiration date

No, it looks like its a currency issue based on the use of "extended expiration date".

I was alerted to this by the stinger itself as an update and I had the
latest version (2.6.0).

Yes, renamed in February. No substantiative changes where made in April and that is why it
is still v2.60.
