Icons not displaying properly
The icons in my quick start menu and all the icons in
windows explorer on the left side of the page as well as some in the start menu are fuzzy looking. What's up with that? Why only those icons? |

Hi,
I had the same problem some time back with my Win ME. Here are two alternative solutions: 1. Go to Tools/Folder Options/View in Windows Explorer. Make all hidden files and folders visible. Then Search for the file SHELLICONCACHE (without any filename extension) in the Windows folder. Delete it and reboot your machine. Don't worry. Windows will rebuild it on reboot. 2. If the above doesn't work. Download "Shelliconcache Fix" from http://www.aumha.org/reg1.htm. Run it and then reboot your PC. This will solve your problem -----Original Message----- The icons in my quick start menu and all the icons in windows explorer on the left side of the page as well as some in the start menu are fuzzy looking.
