Default Dual booting

I am wanting to set up my computer to dual boot between
WinMe and Win98. I have read that it is not possible, but
I would be using to seperate hard drives not one hard
drive with two partitions. Would this make a difference or
is it still impossible, if not how is it done?

To dual boot between Win Me and Win 98 is certainly possible but requires
the use of a third party boot manager such as Boot Magic (part of
Partition Magic) from PowerQuest (now owned by Symantec)
(http://www.powerquest.com/partitionmagic/) or BootIt NG from Terabyte
Unlimited (http://www.terabyteunlimited.com/).

To add to Mike's answer, while you can boot 98 and ME from the same hard
disk (if you have one of the boot managers and/or partition managers he
mentions), there are almost none that enable you to boot Windows 98 or ME
from a Slave hard disk. You should follow Mike's advice and boot both from
the Primary Master HD.
