Hidden Cursor

The mouse cursor (arrow) "disappears" when playing a
Solitaire game I just installed. I can still get some
functionality out of the mouse, but it looks like the
mouse is in the "background". With a bit of effort, I can
sense where it is on the screen and can click where
desired -- but it is clearly very frustrating!

Note that the arrow is visible (and working!) at all
other times e.g. on the desktop, in other applications,
etc. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game
software, but still get same problem. I have also
installed the game on another PC and everything works
fine.

Any suggestions?

Begin by examining the mouse properties in Control Panel / Mouse for
somthing unusual, and also selecting a different pointer to test.
Also examine the Preferences settings for the Solitaire game for any "mouse"
settings.
