Hello,

Here is a copy extr_act from the system diary I keep which
I hope will assist you. I am assum_ing_ it is the startup
login prompt to which you refer.

"Removed "Windows Log-In Prompt" window by going:
Control Panel/Passwords - Change Passwords/Change Windows
Password.../OK/ entered the existing password in the 'Old
password' field, placed the cursor in the 'New password'
field but did NOT type in any new password and hit
the "Enter" key/OK/Close.
("Remove that annoying Windows login prompt" from:
http://www.cascadelines.com/Pages/Wi...rowsersTips/Ti
p53.html".

(* Anything in this message is accepted entirely at your
own risk. It is given in good faith but could still be
wrong. *)

Hope that helps.
