Bypass Login
Hello,
Here is a copy extr_act from the system diary I keep which I hope will assist you. I am assum_ing_ it is the startup login prompt to which you refer. "Removed "Windows Log-In Prompt" window by going: Control Panel/Passwords - Change Passwords/Change Windows Password.../OK/ entered the existing password in the 'Old password' field, placed the cursor in the 'New password' field but did NOT type in any new password and hit the "Enter" key/OK/Close. ("Remove that annoying Windows login prompt" from: http://www.cascadelines.com/Pages/Wi...rowsersTips/Ti p53.html". (* Anything in this message is accepted entirely at your own risk. It is given in good faith but could still be wrong. *) Hope that helps. -----Original Message----- An older lady I know says she never had to use the login window until she started looking in places she never been before now she has to login with her user name and password and would like to bypass this how do i get windows to remember her password and user name so she will not have to do this everytime she logs in? . |
