Moving program to another program
EXCEL questions should be asked in an Excel newsgroup.
Open the file in Excel and select Save As. Save the file in a format that WORD can understand, such as Text (tab delimited) or CSV (comma delimited). The format you choose will determine what features of the spreadsheet are preserved when you open it in WORD. However, if you use both Excel and WORD then the better option might be to open a new WORD document and insert an Excel object into it. When prompted for the document to insert, nominate the Excel file. This does NOT create the file in WORD format - it creates a WORD document that can display and print the original EXCEL spreadsheet. -- Jeff Richards MS MVP (DTS) "gholt" wrote in message ... The time varies.
You had a response in an hour, give or take a few minutes, which is pretty good. ....Alan -- Alan Edwards, MS MVP W95/98 Systems http://dts-l.org/index.html In microsoft.public.win98.gen_discussion, "gholt" wrote: -----Original Message----- Can anyone explain how to remove a file from Excel and move it to MS Word? .How long does it take to get a response? |
