Default Backup Drive for Windows 98 As Well As Microsoft Vista

Greetings -- I want to buy a backup drive with the idea of
transferring the backed up files to a Microsoft Vista operating system
when it is available and then use the backup drive for routine
backups. I have heard that the new Vista system may not have FAT32.
What advice can you give me as to the purchase of a drive?

Regards, George

I don't know where you would have heard that but I would expect that it is
not true. Vista might not want to INSTALL to a FAT32 drive, but it surely
will be able to READ them. There are a lot of them out there - thumb
drives, portable hard discs, etc.
