Default Update: "SPYBOT" and "DSO Exploit"

Hi,

Thanks to everyone for your replies. I used a program called
"Finder" 4.0 and searched "SPYBOT~1" tree, located in the "Program Files"
folder, for the string, "DSO Exploit". Two files contained this string. The
file, "Targets.NFO" included an explanation. This relates to a security hole
in IE. Since I no longer use IE (I use Netscape), this entry in the registry
shouldn't be a problem to me.

Brad

Original message:

I recently installed "SpyBot" 1.3 in one of my computers.
It found several "spys" and removed all except one, "DSO Exploit".
I tried it again, but it wasn't able to remove it. Did you have a
similar experience using "SpyBot"?
