computer reboots into safe mode
Sometimes our computer reboots automatically into safe mode when
starting from a cold boot. When it does this, we also get the message that a file, fdce.vxd is missing and that the registry or win.ini refers to it. I tried searching for it in win.ini and the registry and deleted it from the registry but we still get this message when booting into safe mode. This doesn't happen in normal mode. Would appreciate any help with getting rid of this message and preventing the automatic reboot into safe mode. Thanks. |
