Default Win98SE --- WinXP

For a private network between 2 WIN98se systems I used Netbeui with good
results. Now on one system I have WinXP installed and am trying to
reestablish connection. Do I need an other protocol for this?

If you can tell me I appreciated this. Please reply directly to my
e-mail adress.

You can still use netbeui if you prefer but it isn't installed with
winxp by default. You need to load it from your installation cd.

However, netbeui will be phased out in the fullness of time so it's
preferable if you configure everything to use tcp/ip

Not me. If you can't be bothered to check back for replies that's your
loss.
