Happy Binary Day !
Its official, today is Binary Day 11 11 11
That's November 11, 2011 for us humans, but 11 11 11 for computers. Since computers now have more power and brains than humans, we must go with the binary method. Therefore, it's 11 11 11 And at 11:11am as well as 11:11pm, we will have 11 11 11 11 11. These two minutes during the day of 11 11 11, could be the most critical two minutes in all history on planet Earth. It is during these two minutes that the computers will take over the earth and control everyone and everything on Earth. They have already take over the human youth, today they may force all humans, regardless of age, and possibly all forms of life on Earth will have to succumb to the computers and their control of LIFE. If you do not allow computers to totally take control of your life at 11:11am, during the one minute at 11:11pm, your life will be extinguished, as the computers disable your brain functions, your nervous system, and shut down your cardiac and respiratory systems. May the great CPU in the sky bless you with lots of memory, and a gateway to the power supply and beyond as you enter the USB port of existance, and travel on the network into the next worlds! Happy Binary Day! |

Computers don't use the mm/dd/yy (or even the mm/dd/yyyy) format for time. That's a format familiar to humans, not designed for or used by computers. Since computers now have more power and brains than humans, we must go with the binary method. Therefore, it's 11 11 11 And at 11:11am as well as 11:11pm, we will have 11 11 11 11 11. Yeah, again a format used by civilians or non-scientists that use the 12-hour clock instead of the 24-hour clock. So where you last binary day on 10 10 10 (and at 10:10 AM/PM)? Or the one before that on 01 01 01 (and at 1:01 AM/PM)? |

... Its official, today is Binary Day 11 11 11 That's November 11, 2011 for us humans, but 11 11 11 for computers. This claim seems flawed. Decimal 11 11 11 would indeed be b b b in hex: but binary code for these three numbers would need 12 digits (1011 1011 1011. If we want it to be Binary Day we should presumably use binary code.) -- Don Phillipson Carlsbad Springs (Ottawa, Canada) |

I don't ;-) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Year_2000_problem The Year 2000 problem (also known as the Y2K problem, the Millennium bug, the Y2K bug, or simply Y2K) was a problem for both digital (computer-related) and non-digital documentation and data storage situations which resulted from the practice of abbreviating a four-digit year to two digits. However, perhaps I should have said MOST instead of ALL ;-) Buffalo PS: Happy Binary Day anyways. Now you got it right. Happy Binary Day, anyways. Take a cab home! Buffalo |
